Sculptures that will disappear in July
My friend Sue was bugging me about not putting up more of the pictures I took while going around Lake Oswego looking at the Gallery Without Walls. I had talked about Totem, which is one of the pieces that will disappear in July if the city does not place it in the permanent collection. Rather than go through all of them one by one (there are some that I do want to talk about individually), I thought I would show you all of the other pieces that will be disappearing in July, so if any of them look particularly interesting to you, you had better hurry.

Spirit of Lights by Nancy Clough
Makes me think of Cirque du Soleil.
Sea Horse by Steve Jensen
Billy Chinook by Nicky Falkenhayn
I have a feeling that this would look quite magical when the light hits it just right. The glass color here is wonderful.
Linear Prism by Lawrence Morrell
I have a feeling that you have to see this at night to really appreciate it.
A Boy and His Dog by Julie Martin
Las Carpas by Mark Clarson
Arc of Peace by Lorri Acott Fowler
This was one of my favorites. It really is quite delightful.
Twister by Bill Kucha
This one grew on me the more I looked at it. I love all of the different textures in it.
Interstellar Aphrodisiac by Micajah Bienvenu
Seed Tree by Don MacLane
This one moves with a gentle breeze and I could have watched it for hours. This one would get my vote.
I am amazed by how many of these artists do not have websites. How are people meant to view their other work? Oh well – that is their business.
