Totem
A few days ago I wrote about the Gallery Without Walls, and I know there are a few on my friends list who are into motorbikes. So I thought I would bring special attention to one sculpture that won’t be around for a lot longer (will be remove in July 2011 unless the city decides to put it into their permanent collection).
This sculpture was created by Travis Pond who makes amazing creations out of scrap metal. You really should visit his website.
This particular creation is a totem made out of pieces of motorcycles and guns. Each segment of it is an animal, bird or fish and the artist says “This Totem represents not what we should worship but what we do.”
You can find it approximately at the intersection of A Avenue and 3rd Street in Lake Oswego.

I expected to see many more photos of the wonderful sculptures we visited! Will you be posting them somewhere else? Thanks again for having me tag along, even though I kept walking in between the sculptures and your lens..LOL
There will be many more blogs on the sculptures within the Gallery Without Walls over time. My brain may dump, but at a controlled rate 🙂
